…or at least ‘Influencer of the month’ according to Diageo! If you’ve not heard of them – they’re the company that own Johnnie Walker, Guinness, Red Stripe and a plethora of other alcoholic brands that are household names.

Through my work with Johnnie Walker for BadgerGP.com (what with their McLaren links) they’ve interviewed me in 60 seconds for their monthly newsletter, ‘The Mixer’ read the interview here.

New iPhone = back on Instagram!

I loved following my friends Instagram photos, with it’s retro effects making phone snaps look fab, but since my iPhone 3G was incredible slow I couldn’t be bothered with it, but now with a shiny new 4S, I can finally have a proper play with it and it’s ace – feel like a old man who’s just discovered modern technology and can now join in the instagram fun.

Event better, I’ve come across Inkstagram which produces a slick web-based view of all your photos – so proud of the new toy, I’ve added a link to my ‘inkstagram’ site of Instgrams. Have a gander here

Background images on my blog

I really wanted this blog to simple, no messiness, just a smart white box with my ramblings about social media, technology, web development and other such things alongside my portfolio.

When I’d finished tinkering, it looked good, but needed something more so I put together a collection of images that I like and made them backgrounds that alternate randomly when navigating through the site.

They’re a collection of images of Formula 1, some of my favourite records and then some taken myself or of me that I like. Once I’ve got ‘rightpalava’ properly redeveloped I’ll show you how to do this yourself and bring back all my other little ‘how to’ tips and tricks with WordPress and CSS.

I love having my own little corner of the web to post articles or other such bits and pieces, but the old rightpalava site was so old it was a tad embarrassing so I’ve gone a bit heavy handed and binned it. I’ll bring back (some of) the old content over time, but for now here’s to a newer, more simple and useful website to showcase my client portfolio and to have blog to play with.

Plans:

Build a proper client portfolio and make it pretty (a simple one is here for now)
Actively promote consultancy services for web and social media clients
Have fun blogging about tech, web, social media and other ramblings

All the comments have been removed for now, and I’ve setup disqus to have a tinker with, to see if it’s worth having on BadgerGP.
